Hello, I am the owner of Love Lyons Hair located in Durham, North Carolina. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2006 and a salon owner since 2008.
I’ve learned from the best, I come from a family of licensed cosmetologists and educators. My mother who is a licensed cosmetologist and hair educator, and two of my sisters who are also licensed cosmetologists. I knew at an early age that I would become an hairstylist.
I was able to master my craft after years of watching my mom and sister do hair in the salon and doing my friends hair whenever they would ask. Knowing how to do hair and being great at it is a gift that God blessed me with.
Once I became a licensed cosmetologist I specialized in hair extensions and natural hair care. Extensions and natural hair has always been my most mastered craft. I love doing extension installs because they are versatile and an addition to making a woman look and feel even more beautiful.
I love what I do, I love my clients and I care about them and the health of their hair. I look forward to our appointments together. I love discussing their next look with them and helping them decide the look for them.
I love talking and laughing with my clients. I love hair, I love making my clients hair grow, I love getting to the root cause of any issues they may be experiencing with their hair whether the cause is age, medications, or stress etc. I try my best to find and implement a solution to keep my clients hair healthy and growing with or without hair extensions.
The goal is to achieve healthy hair and more natural looking hairstyles. Hair is my passion.
